Kitchen chores

Cleaned the dishwasher bottom rack... we had a mold infection because someone didn't clean a small irregular shaped spice container well enough.

I know that's the cause because there was mold inside as well as all over the outside.. nothing else in the dishwasher had that extent of mold growth. I'm sure stuffing the plug inside the container and putting it upside down so that it retained water was a contributing factor.

I don't know when that was washed, but I just found out yesterday, and by then it had spread from the top rack to the side, and dripped down to the bottom rack. Yuck.

I hate cleaning up after other people.. especially when they yell at me for cleaning in a stupid way and then go back in their rooms without bothering to help. I'm so moving out the first chance I get.

Anyway, since I was cleaning, I decided to reorganize the drawers a bit.. I emptied out two drawers and condensed it into one. I used the remaining drawer to stack the (hopefully) clean dishes.

So one good thing did come out of it.. I don't have to stand on tiptoe or get a stool to get dishes anymore! :)
